ScreenTones - Abstract Pack 1

Description

This package includes 5 screentones, which I made for myself long ago, but was not used. Therefore, I am going to start sharing this pile of tones in fives. Package has been zipped to 10 mb, unzipped it would be 13 mb.

Images are jpeg, massive quailty. Even the images are huge 2000 something X 4000.... uh... forgot. Anyhow, they are standard A4 size in pixles. :D

The dot size is 40, which is nice and dense, well fit for a home printer. This number represents the density of the dots, the larger the number the smaller/finer the dots, the smaller the number, the less dense the dots become.
Since if I exeed over the density of 55, the printer's ink will squash the dots, and it will be a mess, therefore I selected 40, which is a nice density of dots to print.

Abstract patterns, thank you. Do not expect too much.

:D Give credit by giving me a link to [link] or an avatar-link. :D

Requests for digital tones are appreciated, tell me what you want to see, what kind of pattern you want to see in the future.... OR give me critiques, this is good, this is bad... give me :D

please read the txt document inside the zipped package thank you :D

I sold off half of my old Zip-A-Tone last year. I found another box, but only a few pieces of the pattern I need. I am not a Photoshop whiz, but I am doing a comic page recreation. The inker used 'Coquille' pattern zip in the background. It resembles the texture on coquille board when you draw on that textured board.

I might could 'hold' it in black and do the rest in cyan to ink over. I have yet to put any actual old school Zip on my recreations. It wouldn't look as black as the India ink or quite as sharp, but I think it would work.

Let me add a sample. That is a CLOSE-UP. When I search by the name online I am not having any luck. Had my old Chartpak catalog, but think I finally chunked my Zip-A-Tone ones and reduced sample sheets (to see how they looked at 65% reduction for comics). Thank you.

At age 67 later this month there is so much I wish I already knew about Photoshop other than the stuff I have taught myself. I had/have so much Zip-a-Tone left it bothered me that it was going to waste. Need to see if that same artist wants the rest.
