It's been a while I bought something worth a lot. Back a week ago I bought a new Macbook Pro only because I felt like it was time I get a new one. I now have two. What do I do? Well, I'll probably make it a render hub, a second monitor, and a TV. Whatever. Doesn't matter what happens. I have two Macbook Pros and both of them won't be out of date for a good while.

Hell yeah. Here are some specs on the new one:

# 2.66GHz Intel Core i7
# 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2X4GB
# 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
# MacBook Pro 17-inch Hi-Resolution Antiglare Widescreen Display

The old one's got these specs:
# 2.66GHz Core2Duo
# 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
# MacBook Pro 17-inch Hi-Resolution Antiglare Widescreen Display
# 250GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm

Ok not bad. The old one's basically the same thing excepting that its got less brain power than the other. The other thing is the GPU, which is an OK level for what it is. I'm happy.

Ha, fancy that! The iCore7 plus all customization upgrades…very nice there, Skybase, and no doubt your former Macbook Pro will still offer you its powers. I wanna hear how the hardware upgrade will have had lent you a boost to your rendering productivity/efficiency in due time!
