Made with Voyager, a fractal landscaping utility that is along slide with artmatic.

Very detailed, so detailed that when super high rendering, the comp literally crashed.

Despite the official size for HDTV or Widescreen, this is for a 20in display.

quite nice, woudl you say the program is better than Terragen or Mojoworld?

The future belies your preconceptions...
Mojoworld gives you the entire planet through fractal rendering, while terragen can some how generate a protion of a planet. However, I like terragen because it has more controlls over the terrain than mojoworld.

Mojoworld has the idea to render, but its not as good as I thought. Though if ur too lazy to play with the paramiters, this one is good for u.

i was asking if the program your using is better than them? but thanks for telling me your thoughts on terragen & mojoworld. BTW, Youcan make planetary renders with terragen :) you just have to tweak the process.

do u mean add "Z" and make a curvature? =p hehe, but anyway there are loads of terrain - editors in the world.

The first in thought (and sorry for reanswering this question) is Bryce 5, originally meant for terrain editing.

Second in thought was artmatic - Voyager, of what I made this with. Its a little weak that terragen, but as u can see you can make something much complex. :D

I want more landscape editors! :P

would it ever be possible for these terrains to be used in terragen?

Yes, you'll need to work pretty hard on the grayscale map, but its not impossible.

Play : create : Skybase
what exactly did you create the terrain in? was it using this voyager program your speak of? of did you do it with something else?
