I decided to take on something a bit radical and a bit crazy. A couple things to note that I don't know if I should mention but I'll say them anyway.
1. Akkad is a city, part of Mesopotamia.
2. The character speaks a mashed up, designed Proto-Norse with a slight hint of english.
3. The colors are derived from traditional Japanese dyes.
4. The Holy Mountain was a major influence.
