Maybe they lead somewhere.

[Making and some commentary]

- The plans from the image was lying in a notebook from June. :| I just forgotten about it till a couple weeks before the exam week.

- The entire image took 23 hours to render at a resolution of 6000X9000 and is 156 megabytes uncompressed. Yes, I am on a Core2Duo mac.

- This was not made with Terragen.

- Folowing Stars is a chapter of the book Stars in My Hands.

- There's some snow on the mountains.

- I might as well make a version with a planet in it.

it says its not made with Terragen? what is it made by then may i ask? :)

very nice work.

my only comment is that the far away mountains, and some of the closer ones look a little pixilated, and i did download it..

I think I got pixies because I did a big fat unsharp mask on it. I should have not. The original quality is smooth, while the low quality is pixey. I hate low quality :p I wish all of your internets can connect faster as in 1 Gigabit connections so I can upload the massive print quality works.
