[Abstractica Part 1 Read Me]

Introduction: This is a pack of 5 screentones (out of 20) saved in JPEG compression. The Abstractica package contains various abstract tones from patterned to something totally surreal and fluid. They are mostly generated for background purposes although they aren't limited to those.

File Format: The package is downloaded in .zip format.

How to Download: Find "download" on the left hand side.


Details: The size the "dots" was set to 42.5 which basically is quite average or standard.

Use: It is generally up to your creativity. If you want to use them as backgrounds in your comics, cut them out and use it the way you like. You can overlay them on characters to simulate fog or create moods. To do this, get Photoshop or GIMP and place the tones in a separate layer, then change the layer blend mode to multiply. All the white areas will become transparent using the mode.

- You are granted free use of the screentones in your works but not for commercial work.

- If you used it, credit me on YOUR work at here: http://skybase.deviantart.com

- DO NOT abuse this package by redistributing it in anyway. (That means don't put the screentones / this package on other websites in ANY FORM.)

Awesome. I've downloaded them all, thank you very much; they're really good quality. If I one day decide to print out my less-than-on-par comics to sell, will I have to do anything, or are they royalty-free?

ummm well they're a bit not-so-Royalty free but it'll help if you actually email me when ever you're planning on that. I don't mind as long as they're properly credited somewhere in the corner, like just a web address will do. :)
